Linutop OS Pro can be installed from Linutop OS Free in the Install tab of the configuration panel.
Linutop OS is optimized for digital signage and kiosk use and reduces maintenance costs. Linutop OS XS is based on Raspberry Pi OS, Linutop OS for PC is based on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS.
Linutops are shipped with the same software package, ready to use.

You can download the demo version of Linutop OS from the download page. Linutop OS for PC can run from a hard drive or a flash drive. Linutop OS XS for Raspberry Pi can run from an SD card (8GB min).
Linutop OS offers the possibility to back up all your system's information on a USB key (8GB). You can then boot on that USB key from any computer* to keep your Linutop OS environment and data. A demo USB key can also be created from the USB image available for download.
*Linutop OS runs on any PC that has compatible drivers, once the boot order is configured in the BIOS (boot priority set to USB device).

The Linutop is delivered with VLC media player installed. You can play video files (MPEG, AVI, WMV, FLV...) in full-screen mode using graphics acceleration.
Wired connection: each Linutop has an RJ45 Ethernet port.
Wifi connection: you need a USB Wifi or 3G key whose chipset is compatible with Ubuntu.

- Create your playlist by choosing the order and display time of the media

Recycle an old PC with Linutop OS:

Linutop parcels are sent to the shipping address indicated at 10 a.m. the business day following payment. Delivery normally takes 2 days in metropolitan France, or about a week for other countries. A confirmation e-mail lets you track your parcel (in most cases). For a software or service purchase, you can use it as soon as your payment is received.
